ORIGINAL STORY: A band of storms is on the verge of sweeping through Palm Beach County and figures to make the drive home a wet mess.
Radar shows the system ranges as far north as Stuart, west to Naples and as far south as Pembroke Pines.
The National Weather Service forecasts a 40 percent chance of rain this afternoon, edging up to 50 percent tonight. It will remain windy with gusts up to 29 mph this afternoon.
