A Space X Falcon 9 rocket will launch from Cape Canaveral tonight with a launch window opening at 6:46. The launch window lasts about 90 minutes.
The launch was scrubbed last night although the company said on Twitter that the Falcon “remains healthy.”
“Weather for today’s launch attempt at 80 percent favorable, though upper level winds and ground level winds remain watch items,” the company said at about 4:15 p.m.
The rocket will deliver a commercial communications satellite for communications services to broadcasters, Internet providers, mobile and fixed network operators, and business and governmental organizations worldwide.
The launch should be visible in South Florida. Just look north. Or watch the webcast here.
