Mother Nature is dealing up hot and humid weather for SunFest today with a 20 percent chance of rain through early evening.
A cold front moving into the state is expected to stall out north of Lake Okeechobee, but there is a possibility of inland showers and a couple of pop up thunderstorms.
Tonight should be mostly clear.
Saturday will be warm again with high temperatures in the mid-80s and drier air moving in. Rain chances are just 5 percent during the day on Saturday and even lower during the evening hours.
While weather won’t be a challenge this SunFest, parking is a perennial issue.
For more information on where to park or to register a parking spot in advance, go to SunFest’s parking site.
You can also park at one of about 1,100 metered spaces downtown.
And, you can make it even easier, by riding a bike. The Downtown Development Authority offers a free bike valet.
