Marine warning issued for coastal Palm Beach County

Update, 2:15 p.m.: A Marine Warning has been issued for all of the Palm Beach County Coats until 3 p.m. Strong storms are located along a line moving southeast on the coast.

Areas of concern include Ocean Ridge, Palm Beach, Delray Beach, Hypoluxo, Boca Raton, Highland Beach, South Palm Beach, Manapalan, Briny Breezes, Gulf Stream and Deerfield Beach.

Original post: The National Weather Service has issued a significant weather advisory for a strong thunderstorm near Lake Worth that is moving south at 5 mph.

The advisory is in effect until 2:45 p.m. with multiple cities in areas of concern including, West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Wellington, Jupiter and Juno Beach.

Forecasters are concerned small hail and wind gusts up to 45 mph are possible with this storm.
